Build your supermoto faster and easier with a ready-to-go conversion! Wheels and tires come MOUNTED & BALANCED, so you're one step closer to riding as soon as you open the box.

Warp 9 continues to show how to build a supermoto easily and quickly without breaking the budget. Their wheels include front and rear rotors, rear sprocket, and wheel spacers, so all you have to do is add tires! Their balance of strength and weight savings make for a great wheel that will take a beating and keep on rolling. In the unlikely event you do run into problems, Warp 9 is the only wheel company to stand behind their warranty with a warranty! Spoked wheels are covered with a $60 cover-anything warranty deductible.

Choose from Warp 9's massive range of color combos and get your wheels built to match your style!

This Street Conversion Includes:

  • Warp 9 Wheels:
    • 17x3.5" front wheel.
    • 17x4.25" or 17x5.0" rear wheel.
(5" with 160 is VERY tight, see Recommendations below.)
    • You choice of color combination.
    • Comes with direct drive rear hub. (Cush drive not available for RMZ.)
    • NOTE FOR RMX450Z RIDERS: The front hub used with these wheels is a standard RMZ fitment. It is not compatible with the original RMX Speedo, which would read incorrectly anyways, due to the mechanical speedo being set up for the original 21" front wheel. We recommend adding the Trail Tech Vapor to this Conversion Kit!

  • Warp 9 Front and Rear Rotors:
    • Choose Front: 320mm Apex Floating, 320mm Wave, Original size Wave, or no rotor.
    • Choose Rear: Original size, matching design to front rotor.
    • Caliper adapter bracket included for 320mm rotor.
    • Rotor bolt patterns are the same as factory.

  • Warp 9 Sprocket:
    • Choose size: 40, 44, or 47-53T.
    • Sprocket bolt pattern is the same as factory.

  • Tire Options:
    • Choose: Many tires available to suite your riding, from road-gripping performance street tires to dual-sport tires that can tackle the roads as well as some offroad riding.
    • Tires are mounted & balanced.

  • Available Options to Add:
    • Chain to fit with your new gearing combination.
    • Chain Block to keep the chain from slapping the rear wheel & tire.
    • Wrap-around handguards to protect your levers.
    • Supermoto fenders that are shorter than stock, to match smaller front wheel.
    • Speedometer kit, for a new digital display with multiple gauges. *Necessary for RMX450Z, because stock speedo does not work with the Warp 9 front hub.

Setup Recommendations For Your Bike:

  • Rear Tire Fitment & Clearance:
For the best tire clearance on the RM/RMZ, select the 17x4.25 rear wheel size. This wheel size along with a 150 tire is highly recommended as your best option for a painless setup and quick swaps between dirt and supermoto.

Fitting a 17x5 rear wheel with the 160 is possible on the RM/RMZ models, but it's not easy! It will require extra attention & effort during the initial setup and during wheel changes. The rear wheel must be positioned at the back of the swingarm to avoid rubbing on the right side of the swingarm where it tapers inward. This means playing with sprocket sizes so that the chain is properly tensioned, but also so the wheel is sitting within the last few alignment marks on the axle adjusters. This setup and axle adjustment is critical since moving the tire too far forward will cause it to rub on the right side and there's only so far back to move before the end of the axle adjustment. The perfect setup and install provides just a couple millimeters of clearance on the right side of the tire.

Tires don't measure true to size, so their actual measured width varies widely from one tire to the next. Dual sport type tires and Dunlop street tires in the 160 size will not fit the RM/RMZ in a 160, and some will even be a tight fit in a 150 size. Any tire option listed here will fit in a 150, but some may still be tight. In regards to tire selection for a 17x5, it's best to stick with the Michelin Pilot 2CT since it's the narrowest 160 option.

  • Avoiding Chain Rub On Rear Tire:
It's highly recommended to run a Chain Block on the RM/RMZ due to the tight clearance between chain and rim/tire.

If you plan to run a 17x5.00" with 160 tire, the Chain Block is absolutely critical to avoid chain slap and a greasy tire. Proper installation of the chain block should provide 2-3mm of critical clearance. It's still tight, but gets the job done!

with the wheel positioned further in the back of the swingarm will provide just a couple millimeters of clearance on either side of the tire. This is as tight as it gets and just barely works!

  • Fork Guard Clearance:
Fork guards will need to be slightly trimmed near the edge of the tire, to prevent rubbing.

  • Front Brake Line Routing:
When bolting the caliper back on with the new 320mm rotor, it's best to route the brake line on the inside of the fork leg to avoid any outside impact. This can prevent the line from being ripped off and ending your ride or race. Carefully route the line by positioning enough slack on the caliper side of the brake line clamp to allow the line to sit directly between the rim and the rotor. Avoid letting the line sag or sit loosely. If necessary, you can secure the line to the inside of the fork guard by drilling small holes through the guard and zip-tying the line in place. See picture for example.

  • Colors & Cleaning:
White and lighter colors are harder to keep clean, as well as matte finishes. Powder coat finishes are smooth and can be easier to clean. All finishes can be damaged by brake cleaner and other harsh chemicals! Dish soap in a spray bottle is a great option, but no matter the cleaner, always rinse parts right away.
