Build your supermoto faster and easier with a ready-to-go conversion from Toxic Moto Racing! Wheels and tires come MOUNTED & BALANCED, so you're one step closer to riding as soon as you open the box.
Excel has been in the game for a long time and their rims have proven themselves time and time again. These rims are laced with either Talon or Haan hubs for an ultimate combination that will take a beating and keep rolling strong!
THIS STREET CONVERSION INCLUDES:
Excel Wheels:
- Excel Takasago rims to your choice of Haan or Talon hubs. (Talon temporarily unavailable.)
- 17x3.5" front rim size.
- 17x4.25", 17x4.50", or 17x5.0" rear rim sizes.
- Your choice color combination, with rims being limited to black, gold, or silver. (17x4.50 is limited to black or silver.)
- Hubs use original bolt patterns for rotors & sprocket.
- Includes rotor & sprocket hardware.
Tire Options:
- Choose: Many tires available to suite your riding, from road-gripping performance street tires to dual-sport tires that can tackle the roads as well as some offroad riding.
Optional Accessories:
- Add a Brake Upgrade to make your conversion complete and also offer much better performance than the stock rotor and caliper.
- Moto-Master Street Kit:
Floating 320x4mm front rotor, adapter for stock front caliper, and stock size rear rotor. - Moto-Master Flame Racing Kit:
Floating 320x5mm front rotor, 4-piston front caliper, braided stainless front brake line, and radial front master cylinder. Also includes stock size Moto-Master rear rotor. - Moto-Master HALO Racing Kit:
Floating 320x5.5mm T-floater front rotor, 4-piston front caliper, braided stainless front line, and radial front master cylinder. Also includes stock size Moto-Master rear rotor.
- Moto-Master Street Kit:
- Add a Rear Sprocket in either steel or aluminum from Moto-Master.
- Upgrade to Titanium rotor & sprocket hardware.
- Add a Supermoto Front Fender from Cycra or Acerbis to compliment the smaller tire.
- Add a Front Sprocket from Moto-Master to dial in the drive ratio for your riding.
- Add a Chain to fit with your new gearing combination. Choose from the high quality options shown: Moto-Master, EK, Vortex, and more!
- Add a Chain Block to prevent chain slap on the wider tires! Recommended for 160 tires.
- Add Handguards to wrap-around handguards to protect your levers. Choose from Acerbis and Cycra options.
- Add a Speedometer kit to keep track of speed, engine vitals, etc.

- Fork Guard Clearance:
Fork guards will need to be slightly trimmed near the edge of the tire, to prevent rubbing. - Front Brake Line Routing:
When bolting the caliper back on with the new 320mm rotor, it's best to route the brake line on the inside of the fork leg to avoid any outside impact. This can prevent the line from being ripped off and ending your ride or race. Carefully route the line by positioning enough slack on the caliper side of the brake line clamp to allow the line to sit directly between the rim and the rotor. Avoid letting the line sag or sit loosely. If necessary, you can secure the line to the inside of the fork guard by drilling small holes through the guard and zip-tying the line in place. See picture for example. - Swingarm Clearance:
The actual width of a tire can vary, regardless of their named size. The Metzeler Racetec SM runs just slightly narrower than the Michelin Power Supermoto, however both will fit. - Avoiding Chain Rub On Rear Tire:
It's highly recommended to run a Chain Block with this racer conversion. It will keep the chain from slapping the tire and rim so you can avoid the unsightly rubbing, as well as chain grease on your tire.
