Excel has been in the game for a long time and their rims have proven themselves time and time again. These rims are laced with either Talon or Haan hubs for an ultimate combination that will take a beating and keep rolling strong!

THIS RACER CONVERSION INCLUDES:

Tire Options: (NOT FOR STREET USE) Pick your tires first because each tire manufacturer only offers their tires for certain rim sizes. Each of the tire sizes are all similar in overall diameter, however, the tire profiles get slightly taller with each drop in rim size. This provides an increase in traction when leaned over, and gets better with each drop in rim size.

  • Metzeler Racetec SM - Available with either 16.5" or 17" front sizes. 125/75 front profile and 165/55 rear profile.
  • Michelin Power Supermoto - Available in 16" and 16.5" front sizes. 120/80 front profile and 160/60 rear profile.
  • Tires are mounted & balanced.

Excel Wheels:

  • Excel Takasago rims laced to Haan Billet hubs
  • 17x3.5", 16.5x3.5", or 16x3.5" front rim size.
  • 17x5.0" rear rim sizes.
  • Your choice color combination, with rims being limited to black, gold, or silver.
  • Hubs use original bolt patterns for rotors & sprocket.
  • Includes rotor & sprocket hardware.

Optional Accessories:

  • Add a Chain Block to prevent chain slap on the wider tires! Keeps the chain grease off the tire and helps you avoid unsightly chain rash on the tire.
  • Add a Brake Upgrade to make your conversion complete and also offer much better performance than the stock rotor and caliper.
    • Moto-Master Street Kit: 
      Floating 320x4mm front rotor, adapter for stock front caliper, and stock size rear rotor.
    • Moto-Master Flame Racing Kit: 
      Floating 320x5mm front rotor, 4-piston front caliper, braided stainless front brake line, and radial front master cylinder. Also includes stock size Moto-Master rear rotor.
    • Moto-Master HALO Racing Kit: 
      Floating 320x5.5mm T-floater front rotor, 4-piston front caliper, braided stainless front line, and radial front master cylinder. Also includes stock size Moto-Master rear rotor.
      * If you select a 16" or 16.5" front rim size, then a 300mm rotor is used because it allows for much easier caliper removal when used on the smaller wheel size. Otherwise, the 17" front rim selection is paired with a 320mm rotor to allow proper spoke clearance for the back of the caliper.
    • Beringer Stage 2 Racing Kit: 
      Floating 320x6mm front rotor, 6-piston front caliper, braided stainless front line, and radial front master cylinder. Includes stock size solid rear rotor to match (rear rotor will either be Innteck or Moto-Master depending on availability).
      * If you select a 16" or 16.5" front rim size, then a 300mm rotor is used because it allows for much easier caliper removal when used on the smaller wheel size. Otherwise, the 17" front rim selection is paired with a 320mm rotor to allow proper spoke clearance for the back of the caliper.
  • Upgrade to Titanium rotor & sprocket hardware.
  • Add a Rear Sprocket in either steel or aluminum from Moto-Master.
  • Add a Front Sprocket from Moto-Master to dial in the drive ratio for your riding. 
  • Add a Supermoto Front Fender to compliment the smaller tire. Acerbis or Cycra supermoto fenders available in multiple colors. This is a universal fender and requires some additional work to fit on the CRF.
  • Add a Chain to fit with your new gearing combination. Choose from the high quality options shown: Moto-Master, EK, Vortex, and more!
  • Add a Supermoto Swingarm from Tecstra that is both wider for tire & warmer clearance, but also shorter than stock for quicker transitioning between turns.
  • Add Handguards to wrap-around handguards to protect your levers. Choose from Acerbis and Cycra options.
  • Add an Hour Meter to keep track of engine hours and maintenance intervals.
  • Add Tire Warmers to keep your tires warm at the track between riding sessions. Vortex Digital Adjustable warmers make it easy to dial in tire temperatures.
