More details

When it comes to handlebar bends, there is no right or wrong answer! However, there are a few things that may shape your bar bend beliefs.

Rider size is typically the main factor in making this decision. Larger/taller riders typically spring for a bend with more rise in the bars to allow for easier standing, more room under the bar to stick your leg out, etc... Smaller/shorter riders typically don't need as much room, so they tend to be more comfortable with shorter bends.

Another thing to factor in is riding style, if you're building a bike for technical enduro riding where you plan to be standing on the pegs most of the time, then you may want a taller bend.

In the end, it's up to you to determine what feels best to you!
