Alpina STS-2 Tubeless Supermoto Street Conversion

Alpina wheels are tubeless spoked wheels that truly set the bar in quality, performance, and craftsmanship. Hand-built in Italy, they are equally ready to be used on the race track, streets, and custom shows alike.

• STS-2 Nipple Technology - Double Seal: Two O-Rings on each nipple, seal against precision-drilled holes in the rim profile to ensure a stable seal and a safer tubeless system.
• Forged Rims - WLT (WeldLess Technology): Forging the rims does not require any bending or welding, so there are no weak points and the rim is much more uniform in strength.
• Less Maintenance: Easy balancing and less required maintenance thanks to forged rims combined with STS-2 Tubeless System.
• Innovative design: A rim without dimples for an incomparable aesthetical result and a clean design.
• Alpina Color Packs: Explore new color options from Alpina with their RIDE and B-COLOR packs
  • RIDE: Simple, yet pleasing aesthetics to compliment any bike. The rims are finished with a solid anodized color. Nipples and hubs are available in multiple anodized colors, with spokes coming in black or silver.
  • B-COLOR: Born from the supermoto race tracks, Alpina's signature two-tone rim colors are embodied by the new B-COLOR design option. The rims are painted two-tone with glossy and matte finishes. Nipples are available in multiple anodize finishes with the option for split nipple colors to match or alternate rim colors. Hubs are available in multiple anodized colors, with spokes coming in black or silver.

SWINGARM FITMENT - Since the RMZ has such a narrow swingarm, you will need a Chain Block at the minimum, but widened swingarms are highly suggested for running a 17x5 rear wheel. We can modify your stock swingarm or purchase the Tecstra Swingarm.

THIS STREET CONVERSION INCLUDES:

Alpina Tubeless Spoke Wheels: High quality racing wheels that are designed to be tubeless from the start! 

• 17x3.5" front wheel: This comes with a 120 tire mounted. (Profile may vary from 120-60 to 120-70, depending on tire model and availability.)
• 17x5.0" rear wheel: This comes with a 160 tire and offers a larger contact patch for more traction so it's a great choice for aggressive riding with occasional trackdays. Keep in mind that the RMZ models have a very narrow swingarm so you WILL need a Chain Block and you will want to keep the wheel further back in the swingarm.
• Choose Your Colors: Choose from the many different colors and finishes offered for the hubs, spokes, nipples, and rims!
• Original Bolt Patterns are used on the hubs for rotors & sprocket, so there's no special fitments required.

Tire Options: 

• Choose from a range of performance street tires to carve the corners, as well as dual-sport tires that will handle the street and some offroad trails.
• Tires are mounted & balanced.

Optional Accessories:

• Add a Chain Block to prevent chain slap on the wider tires! Recommended for 160 tires. This is a MUST for your RMZ.
• Add Rotors & brake Upgrades
  • Moto-Master Street Flame Kit:
    Floating 320x4mm front rotor, adapter for stock front caliper, and stock size rear rotor.
  • Moto-Master Flame Racing Kit: 
    Floating 320x5mm front rotor, 4-piston front caliper, braided stainless front line, and radial front master cylinder. Includes stock size Moto-Master rear rotor.
  • Moto-Master HALO Racing Kit: 
    Floating 320x5.5mm T-floater front rotor, 4-piston front caliper, braided stainless front line, and radial front master cylinder. Includes stock size Moto-Master rear rotor.
• Add a Rear Sprocket from Moto-Master, in steel or anodized aluminum.
• Add a Swingarm Option to provide better clearance for the 17x5 rear wheel. This allows proper chain adjustment without running the tire into the right side of the swingarm
  • Modify my stock swingarm. After you send your swingarm in, it's carefully notched on the inside of the rotor-side arm for full range of tire adjustment.
  • Add an already modified stock swingarm, provided by TMR. We provide a used swingarm that is modified and loaded with fresh bearings.
  • Include a Tecstra Supermoto Swingarm that is both wider for tire clearance, but also shorter than stock.
• Add a Chain to fit with your new gearing combination. Choose from the high quality options shown: Moto-Master, EK, Vortex, and more!
• Add Handguards to wrap-around handguards to protect your levers. Choose from Acerbis and Cycra options.
• Add a Speedometer kit to keep track of speed, engine vitals, etc.
