SPORTEC™ M7 RR is derived from our experience in road racing and engineered to empower sport riders in all conditions of weather and temperature. Introducing a new concept of water drainage and contact feeling thanks to dual-compound on the rear tire combined with Interact™ technology and high silica compounds.

Compound: 

  • Front tire is a single-compound, 100% Silica construction with excellent chemical grip.

Tread Patterns:
  • Higher percentage of grooves allow total water drainage right from the first lean angle, while maintaining an extraordinary contact feeling.
  • The longitudinal center section is slick without any grooves, providing a larger contact patch for more grip in straight line acceleration.
  • Variable depth & width of grooves increases lateral ‘push’ on dry and optimize water drainage at higher lean angle.
  • Bridges keep groves wide open for efficient water drainage, provide tread stability, and reduce wear.

Handling & Grip: 

  • The combination of profiles derived from the Road Racing activities with high stiffness structures delivers an extremely agile handling for a sporty riding style on all roads.
  • The improved Sporty Handling transmits a strong feeling of safety and predictability, regardless of the conditions.
  • Silica compounds combined with a special tread pattern continues the sporty riding stiye in cold conditions, on wet roads, and on greasy & grimy road surfaces.
